I met @mayorofthemeatpacking! I was walking into an elevator in the Whitney, and he was walking out. And just because I meant it I said, “I like your outfit!” He said, “Do you know who I am?” And he pulled me out of the elevator and made me Google him: Mayor of the Meatpacking District. He saved this entire beautiful NYC neighborhood from becoming high rises and a shopping mall! Thank you, Mayor, for being so friendly and awesome and for making the whole city better by your activism!
